Two Future Second Round Draft Picks
Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Grizzlies today announced the team acquired forward Lamar Stevens and two future second round draft picks from the Boston Celtics for forward/center Xavier Tillman Sr.
Stevens (6-6, 230) has competed in 184 games (39 starts) in four seasons with the Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers and has averaged 5.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 15.0 minutes since going undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft. The 26-year-old Philadelphia native has averaged 2.8 points and 1.6 rebounds in 6.4 minutes with Boston this season.
Tillman Sr. (6-8, 245) has appeared in 207 games (56 starts) in four seasons with the Grizzlies and has averaged 6.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 17.7 minutes since he was selected 35th overall in the 2020 NBA Draft. The 25-year-old Grand Rapids, Michigan, native averaged 6.0 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 20.6 minutes in 34 appearances (13 starts) with Memphis this season.
