WisDOT needs public input for major interstate study

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Wisconsin Division of Transportation will maintain two public conferences to listen to suggestions about their plans to enhance the interstate.

The challenge would come with main updates to the I-39/90/94 Hall between Madison and Wisconsin Dells. WisDOT needs to replace interchanges, add a lane, repair flooding issues and presumably exchange getting older bridges alongside the busy highway.

”We’re very early within the research and the general public feedback we obtain proper now could have a big impression on our course of research and the alternate options we develop,” WisDOT Main Research Supervisor Daniel Schave mentioned. “We actually need to get a very good prove for our public involvement conferences arising and good suggestions on the alternate options we’ve developed to this point.”

Jeanette Gehrke lives near the interstate in DeForest and mentioned she would really like WisDOT to make her neighborhood slightly quieter.

WisDOT will host two in-person conferences this week from 4:30 to six:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The Wednesday assembly is at Yahara Elementary College at 234 N.
