Wisconsin Man Charged with Seeking to Intimidate and Interfere with Housing Rights Following Racially-Motivated Incidents

A federal prison criticism was issued charging William A. McDonald, 54, of West Allis, Wisconsin, with utilizing power and threatening to make use of power to injure, intimidate and intrude with the housing rights of a number of people due to their race, shade or nationwide origin. Assistant Lawyer Basic Kristen Clarke of the Justice Division’s Civil Rights Division and U.S. Lawyer Richard G. Frohling for the Japanese District of Wisconsin made the announcement.

In keeping with a publicly filed criticism, legislation enforcement has been investigating a collection of racially motivated incidents involving property harm and threats of bodily hurt until people transfer from West Allis. The criticism alleges that McDonald violated federal legislation with respect to a number of of those incidents.

The FBI’s Milwaukee Subject Workplace and the West Allis Police Division are investigating the case.
