Wisconsin football's marching band dazzle with Taylor Swift inspired halftime show

Taylor Swift is no doubt one of the hottest celebrities at the moment, with her Eras Tour and relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce making headlines on a regular basis.

The singer is once again in the news, though this time, through no effort of her own as her presence was felt at Camp Randall Stadium on Saturday.

The stadium is home to the Wisconsin Badgers football team, and on Saturday, the team’s marching band paid tribute to Swift during their game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Swift wasn’t in Wisconsin

While Swift herself wasn’t in attendance given she is currently touring South America for her Eras Tour, but her presence was certainly felt as the team performed while in a Swift-inspired formation.

The band perfumed a Swift-themed halftime show, and even lined up to form the name ‘Taylor’, with the T featuring a crown above it.

It was a fitting tribute to one of music’s biggest names at the moment, with the Wisconsin football team putting in a performance Swift would be proud of.

Despite missing one its best players, leading tackler Hunter Wohler, for the second half the Badgers relied on returning running back Braelon Allen to lead the way.

He finished Saturday’s game with 62 yards rushing on 22 carries as the Badgers ran out 24-17 winners over Nebraska, making them bowl eligible for the 22nd straight season.

Swift busy in South America

As for Swift, she is currently making waves in South America thanks to her record-breaking tour. Sh has received a warm welcome, with Rio de Janiero’s iconic Christ the Redeemer statue sporting a ‘Welcome to Brazil’ shirt inspired by her ‘Junior Jewels’ shirt.

It was all done thanks to a fan campaign and the charitable efforts of Swift’s fans, as one Brazilian fan had photoshopped the image of the statue in the shirt.

However, after the image made headlines online, it actually came to fruition.
