Victims of fatal Wisconsin fire ID’d as 2 adults, 4 children

HARTLAND, Wis. (AP) — Authorities have recognized the six individuals who died in an condominium hearth in southern Wisconsin as two adults and 4 youngsters.

All six lived collectively in a single condominium of the four-unit constructing in Hartland, police mentioned in a press release Sunday.

The adults who died have been Connor McKisick and Jessica McKisick. The kids have been recognized as a 14-year-old woman, a 12-year-old woman and two 3-year-old boys. Their names weren’t disclosed.

The reason for Friday’s hearth has not been decided. Hartland Police Chief Torin Misko mentioned authorities have been conducting an “energetic prison investigation.”

A number of hearth departments and police departments responded and helped evacuate tenants from the constructing and from condominium balconies, Misko mentioned.

A complete of 10 individuals have been displaced by the hearth, together with two households of 4 and an grownup couple, American Purple Cross spokesman Justin Kern mentioned.

Hartland is a village of roughly 9,100 individuals about 26 miles (42 kilometers) west of Milwaukee.
