Semi driver fainted before crashing into Wisconsin home

The motive force of the semi tractor/trailer that crashed into a house within the City of Vinland in Winnebago County on Monday, July 25 fainted on account of a medical situation, WLUK studies. An 8-month-old child boy was inside the house – and died on the scene of the crash.

Officers say the semi had been touring southbound on I-41 when it veered off the interstate by way of the fence line, crossed the frontage street, and crashed into an occupied residence on Inexperienced Valley Street.

The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Workplace says the semi driver, recognized as a 63-year-old man from Little Chute, was unconscious and misplaced management, inflicting the semi to careen off the interstate.
