Gunman climbs on Wisconsin church roof, stand-off ensues

APPLETON, Wis. (AP) — Police in Appleton have arrested a person who climbed onto a church roof with a gun.

Police stated in a press release that officers acquired a name about 10:15 a.m. Thursday a couple of 43-year-old Appleton man who pointed a gun at somebody at a disaster heart after which pointed the gun at himself.

The person then climbed onto the roof of close by St. Bernadette Parish and fired two rounds into the air, based on the assertion. Neighbors have been advised to remain inside and Johnston Elementary Faculty and Appleton East Excessive Faculty each went into lockdown.
