Boy, 11, shot in apparent hunting accident in Wisconsin, DNR says

MADISON, Wis. – An 11-year-old boy is lifeless after he was shot within the chest whereas inside of car through the opening weekend of Wisconsin’s deer searching season.

The Wisconsin Division of Pure Assets says it occurred Sunday at about 9 a.m. within the Township of Seneca, positioned about 60 miles north of Wisconsin Dells.

Investigators say a 41-year-old man was unloading a firearm within the backseat of the car that the boy was in when it “discharged.”

The boy was flown to an space hospital, the place he died from his accidents. His identification hasn’t been launched.

It isn’t clear if the person who was dealing with the firearm will face felony costs.
