2022 midterm primary results: Wisconsin, Minnesota, Vermont and Connecticut

4 states go to the polls Tuesday evening in matchups that embrace a race to tackle a swing-state governor, a member of the progressive “Squad” with a number of major challengers and a chance to elect a lady for the primary time in Vermont’s at-large congressional district.

Tuesday’s primaries happen a day after the FBI searched former President Donald Trump’s major residence in Florida, at Mar-a-Lago, as a part of a probe into paperwork that will not have been preserved as required by the Presidential Data Act.

Trump has backed Tim Michels within the gubernatorial major and rallied for him on Friday in Waukesha.
