Hundreds without power in North Sioux City, SD
NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. (KTIV) – After storms struck Siouxland Monday, June 2, one community had hundreds of power outages.
MidAmerican Energy’s Outage Map shows over 360 customers are without power in North Sioux City, South Dakota, as of 10:30 p.m. The outages were first reported around 7:30 p.m. on Monday and are expected to be restored by 1:15 a.m. Tuesday.
The cause for the outage is listed as “emergency repairs made to electric facilities.”
Sioux City is also reporting several outages. As of 10:30 p.m., there are over 20 Sioux City customers without power, and they are expected to get it back by 11:30 p.m. Monday.
