ADP reports South Dakotans saw 6.3% wage growth in last year
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – According to the ADP Pay Insights report, workers in South Dakota started the year making 6.3% more on average compared to January 2023, bringing the median annual salary to $50,700.
Nationally, workers saw an increase of 5.2% for workers who stayed in the same job for the last year.
For those who switched jobs, the median change in annual pay was 7.2%, the lowest rate since May of 2021.

Nebraska volleyball will play South Dakota State in a regular-season match in Brookings, S.D. The Huskers will face the Jackrabbits on September 2 at First Bank & Trust Arena.
