ADP reports South Dakotans saw 6.3% wage growth in last year
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – According to the ADP Pay Insights report, workers in South Dakota started the year making 6.3% more on average compared to January 2023, bringing the median annual salary to $50,700.
Nationally, workers saw an increase of 5.2% for workers who stayed in the same job for the last year.
For those who switched jobs, the median change in annual pay was 7.2%, the lowest rate since May of 2021.
ADP’s Pay Insights uniquely captures the salaries of the same cohort of almost 10 million individual employees over 12 months and can be found here. It is released in tandem with the ADP National Employment Report.
