Schlafly Beer of St. Louis expands with Ohio distribution

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Add Schlafly Beer to the lengthy checklist of breweries on retailer cabinets in Northeast Ohio.

The St. Louis craft brewery has expanded into Ohio and Michigan, bringing its distribution footprint to 16 states and the District of Columbia.

In Northeast Ohio, Schlafly beer is distributed to Heinen’s, Fortunate’s Markets, Dave’s Markets, Beerhead and The Wine Spot.

Calling Michigan and Ohio “nice beer-loving states,” the brewery’s CEO Fran Caradonna mentioned in a press launch final week, “In simply two weeks in Ohio, we’ve already bought most of our preliminary allotment.”

The transfer into Ohio from Schlafly, a well-regarded brewery, provides to the wholesome store-shelf provide in a state that already has 400 breweries. Roughly 40 of the nation’s prime 50 producing craft-brewing corporations have distribution in Northeast Ohio. And Schlafly isn’t even within the prime 50, in response to the Brewers Affiliation.
