Oregon State softball turns back Ohio State rally, wins 4-3 at the NCAA Knoxville Regional

Oregon State freshman Sarah Haendiges dug out of a bases-loaded, seventh-inning jam because the No. 3-seeded Beavers edged No. 2 Ohio State 4-3 Friday on the NCAA softball Knoxville Regional.

After the Buckeyes loaded the bases with two hits and a stroll within the backside of the seventh, Haendiges set down the ultimate three Ohio State hitters, the ultimate two by strikeout, to assist the Beavers advance within the winner’s bracket.
