Ohio State misses out on 2025 Oklahoma tight end who commits to Midwest power

Ohio State was in the running to add 2025 Oklahoma tight end Nate Roberts after being named one of his top schools and hosting him on a visit earlier this month.

The old recruiting adage of getting the last shot to impress a prospect turned out to be true this time around as Roberts’ last visit to was South Bend. The 6-foot, 4-inch and 230 pound tight end selected Notre Dame from his final contenders.

It would have been nice to see Roberts end up in Columbus but at the current moment there are multiple other players at his position that the Buckeyes are recruiting heavily.

Georgia’s Emaree Winston is high on Ohio State and there is potential for Luka Gilbert to stay home and play for the Buckeyes as well. The search for a 2025 tight end commit continues.
