New Safe Haven Baby Box dedicated at Ohio Township Fire Dept.

SPENCER CO., Ind. (WFIE) – In Spencer County, the Prosecutor’s Office dedicated a newly installed Safe Haven Baby Box at the Ohio Township Fire Department in Rockport.

The goal of a baby box is to help prevent child deaths by allowing mothers to surrender a baby safely.

The dedication took place Sunday at 2 p.m.
