The 2025 National Duals Invitational delivered a relentless opening day in Tulsa at BOK Center, with blue-bloods and upstarts trading blows for a share of over $1 million. 

Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma State, and Ohio State muscled through the bracket, while Missouri, Minnesota, Virginia Tech, and either Lehigh or Illinois stayed alive in the wrestlebacks with statement wins and bonus-point swings.

Stars showed up as Angelo Ferrari anchored Iowa at 184, Jesse Mendez fueled Ohio State at 141, Brock Hardy kept Nebraska dominant at 141, and Konner Doucet sealed wins for Oklahoma State at heavyweight, setting the stage for a blockbuster Sunday.

Today’s semifinals are must-watch: Iowa vs. Oklahoma State and Ohio State vs. Nebraska. 

On the consolation side, it’s Missouri vs. Minnesota and Virginia Tech vs. the Lehigh/Illinois winner as teams fight for podium placement before the evening final.
