HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) — Ohio’s first Buc-ee’s in the Dayton area is getting closer to reality.

According to a Facebook post from Huber Height’s Mayor Jeff Gore, the official groundbreaking is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 8.

Huber Heights’ planning commission unanimously approved Buc-ee’s nearly 700-page final report on May 14. The report outlined building plans, construction details and addressed potential traffic concerns and solutions.

Multiple factors are still being considered as construction progresses, but the new gas station is projected to be open by late 2025.
