Fire breaks out at BP refinery near Toledo, Ohio
OREGON, Ohio (WPTA) – A fireplace broke out on the BP-Husky oil refinery within the Toledo suburb Tuesday night.
In line with WPTA sister station 13abc, crews responded to the refinery within the 4100 block of Cedar Level Street in Oregon round 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday night for studies of accidents. The variety of individuals damage and the extent of their accidents is unknown presently.
BP Hearth and the Oregon Hearth Division responded to place out the hearth. It’s unclear what sparked the hearth.
On its web site, BP describes the power as “targeted on security, reliability and sustainability.” The corporate mentioned the plant processes as much as 160,000 barrels of crude oil every day. The oil is refined into merchandise together with gasoline, jet gasoline and asphalt.
