Feds accuse 14 Northeast Ohio residents of trafficking cocaine, fentanyl

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Fourteen Northeast Ohio residents are dealing with federal expenses after they had been accused of being a part of a drug-trafficking ring that offered fentanyl, cocaine and crack cocaine.

In accordance with the U.S. Legal professional’s Workplace for the Northern District Ohio, a grand jury on Tuesday indicted Montez Miller, 34; Mario Hoyle, 32; Marlon Hoyle, 30; Marque Miller, 28; Theodore Nickoloff, 48; Adrian Smith, 32; Anthony Lee Smith, 33; Mario McCray, 41; Madonna Sanchez, 36; Alex Perez, 25; Bernard Inexperienced, 62; Brandon Keith, 32; Toquato Knowles, 42; and Darius Glass, 32. All are from Elyria besides Miller, who’s from Cleveland, and Perez, who’s from Sheffield Lake.

Every particular person is charged with conspiracy to own with intent to distribute a managed substance and distribution of managed substances, prosecutors say.

In accordance with the indictment, members of the trafficking ring obtained massive quantities of cocaine from an unknown provider from February 2019 to August 2022. The medication had been redistributed to the defendants, who then offered them all through Northeast Ohio, prosecutors say.

The defendants are accused of utilizing cell telephones and coded language to disguise their trafficking actions, prosecutors say.

The investigation was performed by the Elyria Police Division, the FBI Cleveland Division, the Lorain Police Division, the Lorain County Sheriff’s Workplace, Lorain County Prosecutor’s Workplace and the U.S. Marshals Service.
