Election Results: 2025 Ohio Primary Election

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The 2025 primary election for Ohio was held on Tuesday.

Polls opened at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday and closed at 7:30 p.m.

Statewide, people are voting on Ohio Issue 2, which would allow the state to issue up to $2.5 billion in general obligation bonds to support the State Capital Improvement Program (SCIP) over the next ten years.

There were four school levies across the area, those included:

  • Belpre City Schools Bond Issue and Tax Levy
  • Marietta City Schools Tax Levy
  • Warren Local Schools Renewal Tax Levy
  • Eastern Local Schools Bond Issue and Tax Levy

Ohioans across the Mid-Ohio Valley had other issues to vote on.
