Two motorcyclists killed in crash with pickup in southeast North Dakota

HANKINSON, N.D. — A person and girl on a bike have been killed close to right here when a pickup bumped into them from behind whereas they have been slowing to show onto one other street the evening of Saturday, Might 28.

A forty five-year-old man and his 40-year-old feminine passenger, each from Wyndmere, died on scene after their Harley-Davidson bike was struck from behind by a Toyota Tundra pickup truck. The names of the motorcyclists weren’t instantly launched by the North Dakota Freeway Patrol however can be as soon as family are notified.

The bike was touring westbound on Freeway 11 close to mile marker 159 about six miles west of Hankinson and 6 miles east of Lidgerwood when round 11 p.m. it slowed to show onto Richland County Highway 3. A trailing westbound pickup, pushed by 41-year-old Roberto Corona Eguiza of Veblen, S.D., bumped into the bike from behind.

The pickup driver fled the scene on foot and was later discovered and arrested for leaving the scene of a fatality crash, in response to the freeway patrol.
