Some North Dakota weeds becoming resistant to Herbicides
(Minot, ND) — Some North Dakota weeds have gotten immune to herbicides.
Researchers from North Dakota State College’s North Central Analysis Extension Middle say some widespread weeds have gotten extra widespread within the state.
Farmers are dealing with challenges for the upcoming planting season, with uncontrolled weeds threatening to wipe out crops and trigger harm to combines.
Two of the weeds displaying resistance are kochi and inexperienced foxtail.
