Ryan Thorpe, manager of North Dakota’s largest ethanol plant, dies
FARGO, N.D. — Ryan Thorpe, the chief working officer of Tharaldson Ethanol in Casselton, North Dakota, has died.
Thorpe, 47, of Fargo, died Thursday, July 7, at Pelican Lake in Otter Tail County, Minnesota, based on his obituary from Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Residence in Fargo.
Thorpe lived in Fargo along with his spouse Jackie and their kids. He was chief working officer at Tharaldson Ethanol, the biggest ethanol plant in North Dakota and seventh largest within the nation.
Thorpe was born Might 12, 1975, and grew up on a farm at Oakes, North Dakota, and was a state champion wrestler in 1992. He went on to wrestle at Northern State College in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the place he was an Educational All-American.
He labored in finance at numerous banks earlier than becoming a member of Tharaldson Ethanol.
A Celebration of Life can be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Hope Lutheran Church South Campus, 3636 twenty fifth St. S., Fargo. Visitation can be held one hour previous to the service.
