Police identify 24-year-old man killed in rollover crash near Watford City Friday

WATFORD CITY, N.D. — A 24-year-old Minot man died Friday, Aug. 26, in a rollover crash on a gravel street in western North Dakota.

In keeping with the North Dakota State Patrol, the motive force is recognized as Errol Duane Malone Jr., 24, of Minot.

The crash occurred about 6 a.m. in rural McKenzie County, about 5 miles east of Watford Metropolis, in line with the North Dakota Freeway Patrol.

Malone, who was alone in a 2002 Dodge Ram pickup truck, was headed west on twenty eighth Avenue Northwest when he failed to barter a left curve and drove off the street to the fitting, the patrol mentioned.

The pickup overturned within the north ditch, hit a fence and got here to relaxation upright within the ditch, going through east.

Malone was not carrying a seat belt and was ejected because the pickup rolled, the patrol mentioned.

He died on the scene.

The Freeway Patrol is investigating the crash.
