Perennial Candidate Roland Riemers is Running For North Dakota's U.S. House Seat – KVRR Local News
FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Perennial political candidate Roland Riemers of Grand Forks just beat the filing deadline on Monday afternoon and is taking another shot at North Dakota’s U.S. House seat.
The Democrat will face off against Trygve Hammer, who just received the party’s endorsement this past weekend in Fargo.
He also ran for House in 2020 but lost in the primary to Democrat Zach Raknerud.
Two other last minute candidates for the primary election in June include Sharlet Mohr and former Miss America Cara Mund.
Riemers is also running for Grand Forks School Board.
He has previously run and lost elections for North Dakota Secretary of State, Auditor, Governor, U.S. Senate and Grand Forks County Sheriff.
