(Bismarck, ND) — A North Dakota State Board of Larger Schooling member is stepping down.

Vice Chair Jill Louters resigned Friday, saying she has accepted a brand new, part-time place. Louters will probably be working as a mother or father educator with the North Dakota State College Extension Service. She says she’s going to proceed as superintendent of New Rockford-Sheyenne Faculties.

Governor Doug Burgum named Louters to the board in 2018. The board has eight voting members and two advisory, nonvoting members.
