North Dakota Resident Charged in ATV Insurance Fraud Scheme

The Cass County, North Dakota State’s Lawyer’s workplace, along side the North Dakota Insurance coverage Division, have introduced expenses towards a resident of Cass County for committing insurance coverage fraud.

Paul Joseph Baumler, 58, of Casselton is being charged with one (1) rely of committing a fraudulent insurance coverage act, a category B felony. A category B felony carries a most penalty of 10 years’ imprisonment, a $20,000.00 effective, or each.

Via an exhaustive investigation, Baumler filed 39 insurance coverage claims via a number of insurance coverage carriers involving ATV accidents. Investigators have been in a position to establish 14 of the 39 claims to have proof of fabric misrepresentation. The whole claims payout was over $34,000.
