North Dakota: Goehring announces ADD awards funding

BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has introduced Agricultural Diversification and Improvement (ADD) Fund awards for 3 initiatives. The awards totaling $750,000 had been authorized on the ADD quarterly assembly Might 19 in Watford Metropolis.

The ADD Fund is run by the North Dakota Division of Agriculture in affiliation with the Financial institution of North Dakota. The fund was created to help new or increasing value-added-agriculture companies that exhibit monetary feasibility, improve profitability for farmers and ranchers, create jobs and develop North Dakota’s economic system. Kinds of initiatives eligible for the fund embrace however should not restricted to: meals manufacturing and processing amenities, feed or pet meals processing amenities, commodity processing amenities, agriculture product manufacturing and animal manufacturing amenities.
