North Dakota deer hunting licenses will drop for fall season
BISMARCK — An epizootic hemorrhagic illness outbreak will restrict the quantity of deer searching licenses in North Dakota this fall, dropping the quantity by about 8,000 licenses, the North Dakota Sport and Fish Division says.
Final season, the North Dakota Sport and Fish Division issued 64,200 licenses for the deer gun season.
” among the issues we take a look at to find out licenses, it was obvious we wanted to again down on plenty of these licenses,” says Casey Anderson, NDGF wildlife division chief.
Anderson says the Missouri River hall was particularly affected by EHD.
The NDGF determines license numbers by utilizing data akin to hunter surveys, aerial surveys, landowner suggestions and different observations.
