McKenzie County Fatality

On Monday, Dec. 26 at roughly 6:29 p.m. CST on Hwy 85 mile marker 177 roughly 6 miles south of Williston, ND there was a head on collision that resulted in a fatality.

A 2008 Ford F-150, pushed by a 61-year-old feminine, Sidney, MT, was touring northbound on Freeway 85. The Ford misplaced management because it negotiated the curve. The Ford entered the southbound lanes and struck a 2021 Ram 5500, pushed by a 31-year-old male, McPherson, KS, that was touring southbound. The motive force of the Ford was ejected and pronounced deceased on scene. The motive force of the Ram was unhurt.

On the time of the crash the street circumstances have been icy and the climate circumstances have been cloudy. The motive force of the Ford F-160 was not sporting a seatbelt and the motive force of the Ram 5500 was sporting a seatbelt.

The companies that responded have been North Dakota Freeway Patrol, McKenzie County Sheriff’s Workplace, Williams County Sheriff’s Workplace, Williston Rural Hearth Division, Williston Ambulance and North Dakota Division of Transportation
