Man dies in Friday crash near Drayton, North Dakota

DRAYTON — A person died in a two-vehicle crash Friday close to Drayton.

In accordance with a report from the North Dakota Freeway Patrol, the incident occurred at 7:43 p.m. on North Dakota Freeway 66, two miles west of Drayton.

The NDHP says a 2008 Ford Expedition was westbound and a 2010 Jeep Wrangler was eastbound. The motive force of the Ford entered into the eastbound lane and struck the Jeep. The motive force of the Ford was not carrying a seatbelt, in keeping with the NDHP.

The motive force of the Jeep suffered critical, however non-life-threatening, accidents and was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks by Drayton Ambulance Service. The motive force of the Ford died on the scene.

Names of the drivers shall be launched later, in keeping with the Freeway Patrol.
