Man and woman killed in motorcycle crash near Larimore

LARIMORE, N.D. — A man and woman from Drayton, N.D., died after a motorcycle crash that occurred during a club ride near Larimore.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the crash occurred near County Road 4 on the southwest edge of Larimore, just before 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 26.

The roads were clear and the man and woman were riding a 2021 Harley Davidson westbound as part of a convoy of motorcycles on a club ride.

The 59-year-old man failed to negotiate a curve in the road and the motorcycle entered the north ditch, vaulted off a driveway and came to rest in the north ditch.

The man and his passenger, a 44-year-old woman, were ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene.

Neither rider was wearing a helmet.

The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
