I think we can all agree that it is totally ridiculous when an infrastructure project takes more time to gain approval from regulators than it does to get built.
Permitting reform has been a desperate need all across North Dakota and across America for many years. U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer has been at the forefront of advocating for permitting reform, and he should be applauded for his efforts.
Permitting reform has the potential, especially, to facilitate the efficient building of energy projects that are so vital to our economic well-being, whether it’s wind, solar, oil, gas, or any other energy sector.
Cramer’s work on permitting reform is a welcome step and should be applauded, especially by those of us looking forward to building a future for ourselves in North Dakota.
