Letter: A lesson for North Dakota Young Republicans

Current feedback from the North Dakota Younger Republicans recommend they want a little bit of a primer on the First Modification. The First Modification protects freedom of speech, the press, meeting, and the suitable to petition the federal government for a redress of grievances. The First Modification doesn’t spare one from the implications of hateful, derogatory or malignant speech.

The Younger Republicans traded textual content messages that had been hateful, derogatory and maligned a member of the state legislature and the LGBTQ group throughout North Dakota. Their outrage at getting caught and feedback about “woke cancel tradition” speaks volumes about the place their values lie and to an absence of management potential. Keep in mind, these are younger Republicans who sometime hope to steer the state.

The state GOP would do effectively to ensure the younger women and men amongst their ranks perceive they symbolize all constituents, not simply those who seem like them.
