NORTH DAKOTA — Starting on Thursday, Sept. 7 people will be able to book on Landline Shuttle Service to Hector International Airport or Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport from UND’s campus. Rides from this new location will start Friday, Sept. 15.

From Grand Forks to Fargo, the starting rate will be $29 and $49 to go from Grand Forks to Minneapolis. Between Fargo to Minneapolis there are no other stops.

“We’re trying to just connect them in a different way so that they don’t have to drive six hours themselves. You know some people don’t have transportation available,” said Landline marketing specialist Hannah Tamura.

Landline services partners with many airlines to extend service, it has premium reclining leather seating, power outlets, WiFi, and a restroom on board.

“The nice thing about Grand Forks is that it’s not that far, (…) so it’s something we can easily add on to our existing service and potentially provide that same product to a community that’s big, that’s growing,” Noelle Fredrickson, director of commercial for The Landline Company.

The Grand Forks connection will operate three days a week to start and will expand to five days a week in October.

This new addition will not be partnering with Sun County Airlines yet.
