KENNETH WILLIAM STROH was born in DICKINSON, NORTH DAKOTA to JOHN and MAGDALENE (Dukart) STROH on MARCH 13, 1944. Ken was known to many as “Kenny” or “Cowboy Ken”. He was raised west of Manning, in the Fayette area, along with his siblings: Ronald Stroh, Linda Staiger, and Susan Dolajak [deceased in 1987]. The family had a farm where they engaged in farming, ranching and spent countless hours working on the farm. After his school years, Ken joined the United States Navy. Following his service with the Navy, he married Margaret Elizabeth Stroh and had two daughters: Linda and Bonnie. Ken worked on several farms, and as a long-haul truck driver. Ken was known as a hard-working farmer, always happy, jolly and enjoyed playing pinochle. Following his first marriage, he met his second wife; Renae Loraine Stroh. They moved to his family farm where he raised David and Michael. The home on the family farm consisted of was modest and consisted of two rooms. Ken worked for his cousin Tim Stroh at Tim’s garage; Amoco Gas Station from 1979 to 1983 as a mechanic, while running his family farm. After leaving Amoco, he rented a building that previously was a Chevrolet Dealership in Dunn County and worked as a mechanic out of the building. The family subsequently rented a farm in Dunn County, bought a restaurant in Killdeer, North Dakota and made it a very successful restaurant. His then wife: Renae moved to California and Ken remained in North Dakota to run the restaurant for approximately a year. At some point, he closed the restaurant and moved to Hemet, California where he lived for many years. He worked for the Minors, who owned Agri Empire Corp. [Potato Farm] until he retired. Eventually, meeting his current wife Cynthia Stroh and they enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, visiting different casinos and attending special events. Ken liked hosting Bingo events and did so for many years. He loved football and his favorite team was the Green Bay Packers. His many enjoyments included: going to different casinos, playing on various slot machines; attending NFR in Las Vegas, he was a huge fan of the Rodeo circuit; car races, such as, NHRA and NASCAR; being a member of the American Legion; OLD Country Western movies and Country music. His favorite singer was Elvis Presley, and his favorite song was My Way. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Stroh.  His children: Linda Susan Collins, Bonnie Renee Helmantoler, Michael Siurek, David J.  Siurek. His  Grandchildren: Chad Christopher Collins, Tyler Christian Collins, Amanda Christine Stewart, Ashley Breanna Nuno, Aaron Anthony Nuno, Alyssa Kaitlyn Helmantoler, Payton Rylee Siurek, Madison Ryan Siurek, Grace Siurek and Finley Siurek.  Great-Grandchildren: Charlotte Elizabeth Brown, Madeleine Amelia Brown, Wyatt Samuel Nuno, Blake Olivia Nuno, and Kodie Grace Nuno; and his stepchildren. He is Preceded in death by: His Sister Susan Dolajak, His grandparents, his parents, and his former wives; Margaret and Renae.

Kenneth will be laid to rest at the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside California
