Frank Raymond Jakubowsky, Oakland, CA, previously of Belfield, ND died Could 24, 2022, on the age of 90.

A visitation will probably be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Bismarck Funeral House.

A Mass of Christian burial will probably be held on Thursday, June thirtieth, 2022, at 10:00 AM at The Church of Corpus Christi, Bismarck, ND. Interment will observe on the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND at 1 PM. The service will probably be livestreamed at corpuschristibismarck.com.

Frank was born on October 11, 1931, in Belfield, ND, the son of William and Katherine (OBach) Jakubowsky. He was the fifth of 13 youngsters who had been all raised on a farm within the Belfield space. He graduated from Belfield Excessive Faculty and attended UND in Grand Forks, ND. After serving two years within the Military, he labored in a paint manufacturing unit in Chicago, IL. In 1958 he moved to California the place he was employed by Sherwin-Williams as a lab technician within the chemical lab division. He acquired the President’s Advantage Award from Sherwin-Williams for the work he did in creating new micro strategies. In 1986 he retired from Sherwin-Williams after working there for 28 years. After his retirement he spent extra time writing many books, articles and poems and owned his personal publishing firm. Most of his books had been inspirational and religious. He was very inventive and invented a type of guitar that was displayed on the Smithsonian Institute.

Surviving Frank are his brothers John (Erma), Glen Ullin, ND; Invoice (Linda), Cedar Rapids, IA; Nick (Mary Ellen), Eagan, MN; sisters Agatha Lipovac, Crivitz, WI; Emily Schweitzer, Bismarck, ND; Mary (Phil) Colozzi, Sundance, WY; Toni (Norman) Heinert, Bismarck, ND and plenty of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in dying by his mother and father, toddler siblings Anton and Janice, sisters Betty Andriash, Eva Brueni, and Margie Fleckenstein; brother-in-laws John Schweitzer, Anton Fleckenstein, Invoice Andriash, John Brueni, and Ray Lipovac.
