Fargo Public Schools accepting applications for pre-K program next year

FARGO — Fargo Public Schools (FPS) is accepting applications for a pre-kindergarten program for 4-year-olds during the 2023-24 school year.

Application deadline for the program is July 31 at noon. Eligible students must be 4 years old by July 31 and live within the FPS boundaries. The class is limited to 13 students and seven of the spots are reserved for students whose families household income is less than 60% of state median income or students who have an identified developmental delay or disability, according to a release from FPS.

The program will be held Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. at the Agassiz building, 1305 9th St. S.

The program starts Monday Aug. 28 and goes through the FPS academic year, the release added.

The program is free for students to participate in, but families must provide transportation to and from the program for their student.
