The corporate plans to shut the Pembina plant by the tip of the 12 months and dozens of jobs will likely be misplaced
PEMBINA, N.D. (KVRR) — Members of congress in North Dakota are asking Motor Coach to rethink its resolution to shut its Pembina plant.
About 175 members of IAM Native W384 had been instructed they are going to be out of a job by the tip of the 12 months.
Senators Kevin Cramer and John Hoeven, together with Consultant Kelly Armstrong, say these staff produce a top-quality product, and they need to proceed to have the chance to fabricate in North Dakota.
IAM Midwest Territory Normal Vice President Steve Galloway applauds these members for taking a stand.
The plant has been in Pembina since 1963.
