All North Dakota Department of Transportation driver’s license offices to close Aug. 29-30
BISMARCK — All North Dakota Department of Transportation driver’s license offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 29-30, for employee training, the department said in a release.
All motor vehicle offices will remain open, the release said, and customers are encouraged to schedule appointments to avoid disruptions.
“We know that closing offices temporarily may inconvenience some, but we are expecting minimum service disruption,” Robin Rehborg, NDDOT deputy director for driver safety, said in the release. “Our online services, kiosks, and mobile app will be available and are great options to complete most transactions.”

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of “staff.” Often, the “staff” byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
