A BNSF railway car backog hits North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) – Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., has been addressing a Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railway backlog in North Dakota. BNSF’s backlog within the Peace Backyard State is at 2,752 vehicles, which is down 3,600 vehicles from final month.

“Our farmers and ranchers want entry to dependable rail service, and these ongoing transportation disruptions create an actual downside for each producers and shoppers,” stated Hoeven in a press launch. “The steps that BNSF is taking to deal with this concern are encouraging, and I admire CEO Katie Farmer for being receptive to our suggestions and committing to enhancing communication with shippers in North Dakota.
