47 educators named as 2022 North Dakota County Teachers of the Year

Forty-seven North Dakota educators have been named as 2022 County Academics of the Yr for his or her examples {of professional} excellence in schooling, amongst many different issues.

“Our academics have handled unprecedented challenges in recent times — introduced on by the COVID-19 pandemic — they usually responded by exhibiting their creativeness, their adaptability, their empathy, and their ardour for serving their college students,” State College Superintendent Kirsten Baesler stated in a press launch. “Our County Academics of the Yr are sterling examples of those qualities.”

This system honored 40 County Academics of the Yr for 2021, and 20 the 12 months earlier than.

Baesler stated her aim is to have County Instructor of the Yr honorees from all 53 North Dakota counties. Six counties didn’t have nominees for 2022.

The winner of the state Instructor of the Yr award might be named in September.
