Women’s College Basketball (11/26): Shelley’s big night leads Nebraska to win

(Lincoln) — Jaz Shelley went wild in Nebraska’s win, Kansas stayed unbeaten and Kansas State suffered their first loss in Saturday’s regional ladies’s school basketball motion. 

Nebraska (5-2): Nebraska was a 73-65 victor over Mississippi State (5-2). Jaz Shelley had an enormous night time with 32 factors and eight assists whereas Isabelle Bourne posted 18 factors and 5 boards. Kendall Moriarty got here off the bench for eight factors and 5 rebounds. 

Kansas (5-0): Kansas stayed good with a 73-53 win over St. Mary’s (3-3). Taiyanna Jackson had 24 factors and 10 rebounds, and Zakiyah Franklin added 15 factors, six rebounds and 5 assists. Holly Kersgeiter did her half with 11 factors, eight rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists.

Kansas State (7-1): The Wildcats suffered their first defeat of the 12 months with a 69-53 loss to Arkansas (8-0). Jaelyn Glenn had 14 factors whereas Maryville grad Serena Sundell posted 13 factors and grabbed 5 rebounds. Brylee Glenn added 11 factors within the loss. 

Kansas Metropolis (2-4): Arkansas State (3-3) outscored Kansas Metropolis 11-0 in extra time for a 79-68 win. E’Lease Stafford had 24 factors to steer Kansas Metropolis whereas Sanaa’ St. Andre added 23 factors and eight assists. Jocelyn Ewell fell simply shy of a double-double with 9 factors and 9 boards, and Dani Winslow had eight factors and 16 rebounds.
