Weather Service Confirms Weak Tornadoes in Kansas, Nebraska

GOODLAND, Kan. (AP) — The Nationwide Climate Service has confirmed a sequence of weak tornadoes throughout rural components of northwestern Kansas and a county in southwestern Nebraska alongside the Kansas line.

The tornadoes hit Tuesday afternoon as a line of storms moved throughout the Plains. Spotters and video confirmed separate tornadoes in Decatur, Norton and Gove counties in Kansas and an one in Pink Willow County in Nebraska, in line with Nationwide Climate Service meteorologist Ed Holicky based mostly in Goodland, Kansas.

There have been no reviews of accidents or injury from the tornadoes, Holicky mentioned.

The system introduced gusty winds, heavy rain and a few hail, resulting in downed tree limbs some roof injury throughout the area.
