Nebraska Women’s Basketball arrives in Fort Worth ahead of NCAA Tournament

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Nebraska Women’s Basketball team arrived at their team hotel in Fort Worth, Texas ahead of the 2025 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament. The Huskers were originally scheduled to arrive around 4:00 p.m., but due to weather delays in Lincoln, the team arrived close to 10:35 p.m.

10-seed Nebraska faces 7-seed Louisville in the first round of the tournament on Friday, March 21, at 5:00 p.m. central time. The game is being played at Schollmaier Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. TCU is the 2-seed in the quadrant of the bracket and also the host school for the first 2 rounds.

2-seed TCU faces 15-seed Fairleigh Dickinson on Friday, March 21, at 2:30 p.m. central time. The winner will play the winner of (10) Nebraska / (7) Louisville on Sunday March 23.

This is the 3rd NCAA Tournament appearance by Amy Williams and the Huskers in the past 3 seasons. In 2024, Nebraska advanced to the round of the 32.
