Nebraska Volleyball Advances Over Kansas in Four Sets

Nebraska volleyball’s NCAA Event run continues.

The Huskers defeated Kansas in 4 units (25-14, 25-18, 19-25, 26-24) Friday within the second spherical.

Nebraska outhit KU .232 to .152. Kansas did handle extra service aces (4-1) and blocks (13-11).

After lacking the final couple of matches, Nicklin Hames returned to guide NU with 25 assists. Anni Evans pitched in 20.

A balanced assault noticed six Huskers notch between seven and 13 kills. Lindsay Krause had the 13 kills on .357 hitting. Madi Kubik and Ally Batenhorst had 10 kills every.

Nebraska advances to the regional semifinals subsequent week. The Huskers’ opponent remains to be being decided in Oregon.
