Nebraska Department of Correctional Services reports inmate death in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The Nebraska Division of Correctional Providers reported an inmate demise in Lincoln on Saturday.
In accordance with officers, 75-year-old Larry Loughry died on the Reception and Therapy Heart.
Loughry’s sentence started on March 3, 2006. He was serving an 18 to 65 yr sentence on fees out of Buffalo County that included first-degree sexual assault and 5 counts possession of kid pornography.
Whereas the reason for demise has not but been decided, Loughry was being handled for a medical situation.
As is the case at any time when an inmate dies within the custody of the NDCS, a grand jury will conduct an investigation.
