Miss Omaha STEM wants to encourage other young women to pursue science and technology jobs
OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — The dearth of feminine illustration in STEM fields, which stands for Science Expertise Engineering Medication, is step by step getting extra consideration.
3 Information Now Meteorologist Caitlin Connell met with the reigning Miss Omaha STEM, Francesca Stessman, to speak about how she’s attempting to make a distinction.
“I’m very enthusiastic about representing these girls who could not have a voice or could also be too afraid to talk up. And as a lady in STEM, I wish to be part of the change that it created by my platform and I wish to empower girls within the area for a brighter future for all of us,” stated Stessman.

Francesca works at Nebraska Medication as a CNA and hopes to at some point turn into a doctor’s assistant and assist folks daily.
