The journey, which is led by Larkin Powell, professor of pure assets and interim affiliate director of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Pure Assets, and his spouse, Kelly Powell, focuses on wildlife conservation within the southern Africa nation. College of Nebraska–Lincoln college students have been studying about conservation in Namibia because the journey was launched in 2005 by Mark Pegg. The 2022 journey marks the sixth time Larkin Powell has led or co-led the research overseas expertise.
